Analysis of orbit perturbations of the SLC arcs

Description

The generation and correction of orbit errors are analyzed. A general stability criterion for the orbit correction is established and the rms orbit errors and corrector strengths are calculated. The formulation is then applied to the design of the Stanford Linear Collider to obtain estimates for residual orbit distortion after correction
