Effect of caffeine on the #betta#-ray induced chromosomal aberrations in Crepis capillaris L., and Vicia faba L
Description
Caffeine used immediately after the irradiation highly increases the frequency of chromosomal aberrations induced by gamma rays both in G2- and S-phases. The enhancing effect is manifested in G2- and S-phases to a different extent. Both objects (Crepis capillaris, Vicia faba) have displayed certain differences in this respect
