Method for on-line power plant disturbance analysis
Description
The paper discusses an on-line power plant disturbance analysis method which currently is under development. If implemented in an appropriate computer-based system, such a method can provide the plant operating personnel with a real-time assessment of plant disturbances. Such an assessment, which includes early recognition and diagnosis of the primary cause and possible consequence, will enhance the subsequent operational activities. This is expected to increase the plant availability by reducing the number of unscheduled outages. The objectives, functional requirements, and main features of the on-line analysis method are discussed
