Description
In 1973 the NEACRP posed a number of kinetic benchmark problems intended to be solved by different groups. The results were to be compared leading to estimates on the accuracy and efficiency of the different codes. This was felt to be of great value since the codes involved become more and more important in the field of reactor safety. Most of the benchmark problems are typical for thermal reactors, but it was deemed necessary to include one problem typical for a fast reactor. The results for this two-dimensional reactor kinetics benchmark problem are analyzed in this paper. (orig./RW)
Abstract (German)
Das NEACRP stellte 1973 eine Reihe von kinetischen Benchmark-Problemen, die von verschiedenen Gruppen geloest werden sollten. Die Ergebnisse wurden verglichen, um die Genauigkeit und Effizienz der verschiedenen Codes zu bewerten. Dieser Vergleich war sehr wichtig, weil die verwendeten Codes auf dem Gebiet der Reaktorsicherheit zunehmende Bedeutung erlangen. Die meisten der Benchmark-Probleme sind charakteristisch fuer thermische Reaktoren, aber man hielt es fuer notwendig, auch ein typisches Problem fuer einen schnellen Reaktor zu stellen. Die Ergebnisse dieses zweidimensionalen reaktorkinetischen Benchmark-Problems werden in der Arbeit analysiert. (orig./AK)Additional details
