Angular shift in scattering the spherical analogous of the Goos-Hanchen effect
Description
A generalization of the time and spatial delay concept is obtained, for the scattering of transversaly incident beam restricted by a spherically symmetric scatterer using the methods of the complex angular momentum, valid for the angular momentum and angle conjufated variable pair. The result obtained is known validity domain, within the semiclassical approximation. Applied to the scttering problem in the high frequency limit by a transparent sphere with refractive index N<1, above the critical ineidence, the angular shift obtained is the spherical analogous of the Goos-Hanchen effect, When the s function is dominated by a isolated pole near the real axis, the angular shift associated gives, directly, the ''angular half-life'' introduced by Fuller in the framework of heavy ion reactions. Para o espalhamento de um feixe incidente transversalmente limitado por um espalhador esfericamente simetrio, obtem-se, uma generalizacao dos conceitos de atraso temporal e espacial, valida para o par de variaveis conjugadas momento angular e angulo. O resultado obtido e conhecido, embora com outra interpretacao e dominio de validade menos amplo, dentro da aproximacao semiclassica. Aplicado ao problema do espalhamento no limite de altas frequencias por uma esfera transparente com indice de refracao N<1, acima da incidencia critica, o deslocamento angular obtido e o analogo esferico do Efeito Goos-Hanchen. Quando a funcao S e dominada por um polo isolado proximo do eixoreal, o deslocamento angular associado fornec, diretamente, a ''vida media angular'' (life-angle'') introduzida por Fuller no contexto das reacoes de ions pesados.
