A dynamic simulation method of solvent extraction process for operation management

  • 1. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd, Tokyo (Japan)

Description

In this paper, we introduce a calculation method by which the transient concentration change of solvent extraction process is predicted accurately in real time by estimating the component concentration of each stage of the pulsed column based on the measured values of the concentrations of specific components measured by in-line measuring equipment installed at some stages of the pulsed column and the various conditions of operation. Then we show the importance of discussion on the width of confidence interval at each stage of pulsed column, predicting that the width of confidence interval may change depending on the position of the measurement point of operation data even in case of fitting with the same operation data
