Description
4 to 12 years after radiotherapy of lymphogranulomatosis in 63 patients sternal bone marrow punctates were analyzed which had been situated in the area of immediate radiation effect. The hemomyelogram depended on the absorbed total dose. With a dose of more than 35 Gy an aplasia occurred in 82.7% of the cases. In this group the composition of cells normalized in 3 patients only (9.6%) and did not correlate with the peculiarities of the course of the disease. (author)
