Creators

Description

The ATLAS collaboration proposes the construction of a general purpose detector, to be fully operational at the startup of the Large Hadron Collider. This detector will be able to explore the full range of physics expected in the new mass range which will be opened up by the LHC. The overall detector concept is described, and examples are given of the physics performance expected for crucial channels
