On the magnetic properties of CdO:Mn nanoproperties

  • 1. School of Physics, Madurai Kamaraj Univ., Madurai (India)

Description

Nanocrystalline samples of Cd1-xMnxO (x = 0.0, 0.02, 0.04 and 0.06) were synthesized by sol-gel method and characterized by X-ray diffraction, Faraday's rotation, guoy's method and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) at room temperature. Results reveal that ferromagnetism at room temperature for Mn doped CdO nanoparticles is possible. (author)
