Energy utilisation of transuraniums in fast reactors

Description
The technique of increasing the efficiency of fast reactors as the transuraniums combustion facility is considered. It is proposed to inlet the combined fuel assemblies into the reactor core. The results of calculation of the isotope balance and the radiotoxicity indicator on the example of the fuel assembly of the BN-800 low enrichment zone are given. It is shown that the proposed technique allows to increase the plutonium combustion efficiency. 4 refs., 3 figs., 4 tabs
