Application of LCIS for material discrimination with dual energy method

Description
Series of experiments on material recognition were carried out on a full-scale prototype of Large Container Inspection System (LCIS). Experimental result shows possibility of usage of LCIS operating in dual energy mode in 5-10 MeV energy range for recognition of groups of materials according to their effective atomic number.
