Description
The topogram can be successfully applied in mediastinal diagnostics. Here, a limited spatial resolution, large geometrical blur and long exposure times play a minor role. The advantages in comparison with conventional X-ray imaging are: 1. Low radiation scattering at the detector system. 2. No danger of wrong exposures. 3. Electronic image processing allows an image evaluation afterwards by means of manipulating the electronic window. 4. There is the possibility of electronic image storage. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
4. Es besteht die Moeglichkeit zur elektronischen Bildspeicherung.
