Ionic strength dependence of formation constants, protonation, and complexation of value with dioxovanadium (V) at different temperatures

Description
The stability constants of the complexes between dioxovanadium(V) ion and L-valine, at various ionic strengths (I= 0.1, 0.3,0.5,0.7, and 1.0 mol dm-3) at 25 deg C, and different temperatures (t= 15,25, 35, and 45 deg C) at I = 0.1 mol dm-3 were determined potentiometrically. The sodium chloride solution was used to maintain the ionic strength. The parameters based on these formation constants were calculated and the dependence of protonation and the stability constants on ionic strength is described by a Debye-Huckel type equation. Estimates were deduced for ΔH deg and ΔS deg values from temperature dependence of stability constants
Abstract (Russian)
Методом потенциометрии определены константы устойчивости комплексов диоксованадия (V) с L-валином при различных значениях ионной силы (I= 0.1, 0.3,0.5,0.7 и 1.0 моль/л) при 25 град С и различных температурах (t= 15,25, 35 и 45 град С) при I = 0.1 моль/л. Для поддержания ионной силы использовался раствор хлорида натрия. С помощью расширенного уравнения Дебая-Хюккеля описана зависимость констант протонирования и устойчивости от ионной силы, на основе полученных констант образования рассчитаны соответствующие параметры. Из температурной зависимости констант устойчивости оценены значения энтальпии (ΔH град) и энтропии (ΔS град)Additional details
