Description
The status and results from the HiRes atmospheric fluorescence experiment are discussed. In particular, results on composition from the HiRes Prototype and CASA/MIA hybrid experiment and preliminary results from the HiRes monocular data on the highest energy cosmic rays are presented. Evidence for the cosmic ray spectrum continuing past the Greisen-Zatsepin-Kuzmin cutoff is evaluated and the impact of stereo data on this question is discussed
