Connection for digital display of nuclear magnetic resonance signal and its time base
Creators
Description
The nuclear magnetic resonance signals and the time base signals are digitized by two A-D converters. Conversion is triggered by the clock frequency. The output is brought via two gates to the system bus connected to the video monitor of the NMR spectrometer. The moment of entry of output data from the two A-D converters is derived by three flip flops and a logic sum circuit from each change in the output data of the A-D converter for the time base signals. This connection provides a constant number of the NMR signal samples per time based period irrespective of the changing frequency of the time base signal, thus ensuring equivalence of the imaged waveforms at different time base velocities.
