On structural parameters of low-cycle deformation and fracture under intense strain aging conditions

Description
Given are formulae for characterizing the behaviour of the material with few-cycle deformation under conditions of deformation ageing taking into account the effect of structural changes in the process of testing. The given relationships have been tested on steel Kh18N10T at 650 deg C under various loading conditions. Proceeding from experimental data on the precipitation of particles of the second phase a determination has been made of the changes involved in structural paramater d/l characterizing the relationship between the average size of particles and the distance between them depending on the time loading and the shape of the cycle. A possibility of using structural parameter d/l is available for the description of changes in ductility and strength properties of the materials under conditions of few-cycle deformation
