Transmission of gamma camera signals over long coaxial cables

Description

Transmission of gamma camera analog signals to computers over long coaxial cables is complicated, even if a cable is terminated with its characteristic impedance. Empirical sending-end compensation methods, tailored to cable length, have been developed. The author describes techniques to minimize random noise and common-mode interferences when using a linel-receiver design
