Description
The BR3 decommissioning project was selected as pilot project by the European Commission. As first PWR, and also pilot reactor to be decommissioned in Europe, the project has brought already some interesting features and results for the dismantling of nuclear installations. The paper summarizes the results obtained up to now and the lessons drawn for future dismantling as well as for the design of new reactors
