Nuclear data sheets for A = 177
Description
Nuclear structure information for all nuclei with mass number A = 177 is summarized. Data from various decay and reaction experiments are compared. Evaluated data and the adopted spin, parity, and Nilsson--state assignments are given. Deviations from the regional trend of Nilsson ground-state assignments are noted for 177W and 177Re. Similar shifts have been observed in this region for nuclei 8 to 10 neutrons removed from the β-stability line. In all cases, low-lying K/sup π/ = 1/2/sup +-/ orbitals move to ground.
