Expert evaluation of cracking resistance in structural steels using quantitative fractography

Description
Connection of mechanical characteristics with the parameters of extension zone for steels with low and average strength characteristics with an account of temperature effect and type of strained state at the crack top is studied. Values of cracking resistance characteristics corresponding to the parameters of extension zone are referred to actual running of the crack. Estimations of cracking resistance as to the height and width of the extension zone are suggested
