Spectrogram processing in multielement analysis by spark-source mass spectrometry
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Geokhimii i Analiticheskoj Khimii
Description
Different methods of accounting errors, arising in photographic record of ionic currents on the plates with photosensitive emulsion, in analysis and calculation of element content (including rare earths) in rocks and minerals are considered. The least random error is due to plotting of calibration charts by Hull method. In this case the effective width of analytical lines, background, fixing all lines, part of the given charge ions from their sum quantity, the values of sensitivity and contrast range of photoemulsion etc., are taken account of. The developed technique permits to determine the element content in a wide range: from 1x10-6 to units of percents by mass with average reproducibility Sr=0.17
