Uncertainty Measurement of N, P, K, Si, Al, Cu, Fe Analysis in Sediment Samples by FNAA Method

Description

Uncertainty measurement of N, P, K, Si, Al, Cu, Fe analysis in river sediment samples by FNAA method has been done. The aim of the research is to get accreditation certificate on laboratory of neutron generator as well as ISO guide 17025. The estimation of uncertainty were prepared of supported data samples with AANC method as measurement specific quantitative, identification of contribute uncertainty, quantity of uncertainty component, determination of combination uncertainty. Before analyzed the samples must be cleaned from grass and stone and then samples was dried in sun shine and were homogenized. Samples were weighted for certain weight and irradiated with fast neutron using neutron generator and counted with gamma spectrometry. Quantitative analyzed using relative method with SRM 8704 standard reference. The result uncertainty estimation of N, P, K, Si, Al, Cu, Fe are 0.0274 %, 0.0051 %, 0.0188 %, 0.0632 %, 0.071 %, 0.0122 %, 0.094 %. From this data uncertainty estimation it can be concluded that the FNAA method reliable and valid for element contents analysis in samples. (author)
