On crystal structures of natural rhodonite CaMn4[Si5O15] and synthetic NaHCd4[Ge5O15] and LiHCd4[Ge5O15]

Description
The structures are decoded of Cd-germanates by means of Li(Na)-crystal-geometrical analysis. The relationship is established of the selected triclinic cells with that of natural rhodanite. The paper compares the metrics of unit cells of rhodanite and synthetic Na(Li)-Cd-germanates and the coordinates of the base atoms. The positions of most of the 0 atoms in the structures are identical. Only in one 0 atom (O7-Cd germanate, O14-rhodanite) the coordinates differ substantially
