Investigation of dispersion in the hybrid coaxial slowing down structure with the help of video pulse probing

Description

A method of determining dispersion characteristics of hybrid plasma waveguides by conducting the measurements on the time scale has been presented. The method consists in obtaining information about the hybrid slow-wave structure parameters on the basis of the characteristics of a video pulse that has passed through the structure. It is demonstrated that the dispersion curves of plasma waveguide proper oscillations can be also determined by this method in a wide frequency range
