Description

Ion-molecular and interionic interactions in solutions of lithium iodide, bromide, chloride and of some other salts in acetic acid are investigated using absorption band of solvent and of multiatom anions within wide concentration range. It is shown that in solutions of lithium halides stronger interaction between halide anions and acid molecules, as compared to intermolecular hydrogen bond in I-<Br-<Cl-series, results in formation of ion pairs separated by solvent
