Nuclear medicine and metastases
Description
The contribution to the diagnostic strategy of bone metastases is discussed for several imaging procedures including bone scintigraphy and scintigraphy using specific radiotracers. The problem of micrometastases is addressed. Furthermore, palliative treatments of bone metastases by radiopharmaceuticals are currently available. (author). 22 refs
