6Li, 7Li, 12C, 13C(π+,p) reaction on and off the (3,3) resonance

Description
Representative spectra from the 6Li(π+,p) and 7Li(π+,p) reactions at 175 MeV are shown, along with angular distributions from the latter reaction at 75 and 175 MeV. The shapes of 1+ and 3+ angular distributions are nearly identical. The spectra of 12C(π+,p) and 13C(π+,p) reactions at 180 MeV are remarkably similar to those of 12C(p,d) and 13C(p,d) reactions at 800 MeV and the same momentum transfer: a similar reaction mechanism is indicated. Angular distributions are presented for 12C(π+,p) at 90 and 180 MeV and 13C(π+,p) at 90 and 170 MeV; they are structureless. 6 figures
