Hydrogen line broadening in dense plasmas: Important physics

In view of recent high density experiments on hydrogen lines and highly exaggerated reports of new couplings and effects, this work discusses some known physics not normally considered in the analysis of these works that is of much more importance in the dense plasma regime than recently proposed exotic effects
