Thermal hydraulic integral effect tests for advanced reactors

Description

The objectives of research are to establish an essential technology, to construct a thermal hydraulic integral effect tests (hereafter, IET) facility, and to perform tests. In the first stage of this project, we have established the test plan and completed the basic design of thermal hydraulic integral effect tests facility for pressurized water reactors. 1) Development of essential technology for thermal hydraulic IET - Development of the advanced two-phase flow measurement technology for high pressure and high temperature conditions - Development of scaling methodology for thermal hydraulic IET facility 2) Basic design of thermal hydraulic IET facility for PWR - Setup of test requirement and test matrix - Establishment of design requirement of IET facility - Basic design of IET facility 3) Separate effect tests relating IET - Development of test item and establishment of test strategy - Performance of separate effect tests
