Numerical solution of free path fluctuations of charged particles in electromagnetic cascade in an infinite medium

Description
A method for calculating fluctuations of the total range for electromagnetic shower charged particles with energies exceeding a certain threshold is proposed. The method comprises integrating the conjugate cascade equations and requires much less computer time than Monte-Carlo method. The computation results are given and discussed
