Description

The Protem machining unit F9-2000 scheduled to work on the experimental sodium cooled reactor KNK II at the research center of Karlsruhe has been engineered to achieve the complete dismantling of the reactor and of its internals. The decommissioning is being performed from the top of the vessel till reaching the lower level of the internals and then the final cutting of the vessel will be achieved from the bottom to the upper level
