Description
Phase ratios are studied in (Ln1-xLn'x)2Ti2O7 (Ln - Pr, Nd, Ln' -Sm, Gd, Tb, Yb) in conditions of high pressures (8x109 Pa). Some crystallochemical features and criteria for realization of different types of structures for REE ditatanates are determined. Proper geometric factors for realization of the laminated perovskite-like structure or pyrochlorine type structure for (Ln1-xLn'x)2Ti2O7 phases are established. 9 refs.; 2 figs.; 1 tab
