Thermodynamic properties of rare earth metal monophosphides
Creators
Description
Standard formation heats and entropies of solid monophosphides fo lanthanum, praseodymium and samarium are determined as a result of mass-spectrometric investigations of high-temperature behaviour in vacuum. It has been established from mass-spectra analysis at different temperatures and ionization efficiency curves that vapour above lanthanum monophosphide, praseodymium and samarium phosphides in the temperature ranges 2096-2450, 2028-2360, 1716-2083 K respectively consists of metal and phosphorus atoms and P2 molecules
