Creators

Description
It is shown that circularly polarized electron-cyclotron waves can parametrically excite density and magnetic field fluctuations in cold collisionless magnetoplasmas. The relevance of the results to the heating of laboratory and ionospheric plasmas by intense electromagnetic waves has been discussed. (orig.)
