The application of wavelet transform in the extraction of mineral spectral absorption characteristics

Description

The basic principle of using wavelet analysis method to extract mineral spectral absorption characteristics was summarized at first and different wavelet bases, wavelet decomposition scale extraction effect was analyzed in this paper. Then, the algorithm of mineral spectral absorption characteristics based on wavelet spectral analysis was provided and a large number of experiments were carried out to the spectra of field rock mineral. Experimental results show that wavelet method was less affected by original signal noise and could more precisely depict the parameters of spectral absorption feature, therefore wavelet analysis is more adaptive than the traditional differentiate method in spectral feature extraction.
