Scintillation camera with improved linearity

Description

A scintillation camera is described comprising: 1) a single crystal scintillator; 2) a number of photomultiplier tubes spaced from the scintillator with overlapping fields of view; 3) circuit means coupled to the photomultiplier for producing coordinate electrical signals representing coordinates of interaction of gamma radiation with the scintillator; 4) display means for displaying the electrical signals in the form of a spatially positioned dot of light.
