The industrial sterilization of medical products: Pt. 1
Description
This part of the code of practice covers recommendations for the design, operation and process control of facilities for the gamma radiation sterilization of medical products. It also covers the responsibilities of those involved in the running of such facilities. Terms relevant to the recommendation are defined. Dosimetry in general, dosimetry at the radiation facility and the process control at such facility are discussed. Tables are also given on recommended primary and secondary dosimetry systems for the radiation sterilization of medical products
