Renormalization of the Moebius volume
Description
We argue that the volumes of certain non-compact groups arising from the Polyakov path integral should be renormalized, yielding finite values. This resolves a minor paradox. We also find a value for the dilaton tadpole which disagrees with that found previously. (orig.)
