The renewable energy resources position in the fuel - energy balance forecast of R. Bulgaria

Description

The renewable energy resources position in the current fuel energy balance of the country is clearly defined. There have been discussed the solar energy usage possibilities mainly for hot water preparation, for industrial uses, in agriculture, as well as the geothermal water, hydro energy etc. The energy development expectations from renewable resources in the period up to 2015 have been forecasted with the aim of local renewable most efficient usage as well as the country's possibilities to meet the EU requirements for renewable resources development in order to decrease the import fuel and energy dependence and to increase the energy independence of Bulgaria. There have been presented the forecast expectations of renewable development structure by economic sectors in the Republic of Bulgaria. (author)
