Coulomb correlation effects in the electronic structure of CeCoIn5
Description
The electronic structure of the recently discovered CeCoIn5 superconductor is obtained self-consistently. The electronic structure results of a previous calculation in the local density approximation within the augmented plane wave framework is taken as the non-interacting ground state. Considering this state and a multiband Hubbard Hamiltonian, we analyze the LDA+U electronic structure. The results show Hubbard splitting and the distribution of 4f-states according to orbital symmetry located close to EF
