Counterterms in the formalism of normal products

Description
A new method is proposed for studying renormalized chronological products of local values in quantum field theory. Under consideration are the compound fields which in the framework of the so-called formalism of normal products are determined in an each order of the perturbation theory by the Bogolyubov-Parasyuk R operation. An attempt has been made to formulate rules for matrix-element infinite renormalization in terms of only Wick T products. The algorithm of calculating counterterms producing this or that R operation is found. The Zimmerman identities relating different compound fields are generalized
