Description

This presentation summarizes the organization, budget, and staffing of the Nuclear Facilities Safety Division within the Office of Nuclear Safety. Activities carried out in the Division to assure the safety of DOE nuclear facilities are described in the context of DOE nuclear safety requirements applicable to NFS. Specific on-going NFS activities and projects are identified within the general categories of nuclear reactor safety, nuclear process facility safety, nuclear criticality safety, nuclear safety technology, and training. FY 1984 and FY1985 budget summaries by project categories are presented
