Anisotropic behavior of a high Tc superconductor
Description
The paper presents the results of low- and high-field vibrating sample magnetometry and resistance measurements performed on a highly oriented single-phase sample of Y1Ba2Cu3O(7-x). No anisotropy for the low-field Meissner effect or trapped flux is found. The easier conducting dc path in the c-direction is attributed to anisotropy in intergranular contacts. 8 references
