Description

There was more to November 1991's news of the Joint European Torus (JET) project at Culham than creating a second or two of fusion power. It not only confirmed the world lead in this technology held by the project, it also renewed the hopes of many fusion scientists that the JET machine will come nearer to creating the conditions needed in a reactor than had seemed possible.
