Super-Kamiokande

Description

The results from Super-Kamiokande on atmospheric neutrinos and solar neutrinos are presented. The analyses of atmospheric neutrinos using fully contained and partially contained events, upward-through-going muons, and upward-stopping muons, all show evidence for νμ, oscillations. The neutrino oscillation parameters obtained by using the all atmospheric data are Δm2 of 2-6x10-3eV2 and sin2 2θ > 0.84 for νμ ↔ ντ oscillations. The observed solar neutrino flux is 47 % of the expectation from the standard solar model. Using the day/night flux and energy spectral shape comparisons, solar neutrino oscillations will be discussed
