Critical volume for the switching of the magnetization in recording media
Creators
Description
The critical volume of different materials for recording media, both particulate and thin film-based, is measured with the variation of the magnetization and of the coercive field with time. The critical volume, as compared with the particle or grain physical size, results in relationship with the magnetization switching mode
