Conversion of magnetosonic waves at the Alfven resonance

Description

Coefficient of magnetoacoustic oscillation transformation into electron ones is calculated in quasiclassical approximation under Alfven resonance in inhomogeneous magnetized plasma. Along with longwave oscillation analysis conducted earlier results of the given work allow one to make a complete notion related to transformation coefficient dependence on plasma and oscillation parameters. Results of analytic calculations agree well with numeric ones which were conducted in the present work as well
