Total disintegration of the target-nucleus initiated by relativistic heavy primaries and π-mesons (E = 60 GeV)
- 1. AN SSSR, Leningrad. Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst.
Description
Various features of π--nucleus interactions involving total breakup of the target nucleus and occuring at the minimum impact parameters are considered. Possible interaction models are discussed. A consideration is given of some features of nucleus-nucleus interactions with a small impact paramter. The possibility of using data derived from head-on nucleus-nucleus collisions in the study of superdense highly excited nuclear matter is analysed. (orig.)

(orig.)Additional details
