Positron annihilation - a potential new NDT technique
Description
The use of positron annihilation for studying vacancies, vacancy clusters and voids, and dislocations in metals is described, a number of measurements oriented towards NDT applications are reviewed, and the potential advantages and limitations of annihilation techniques in the NDT field are summarised.
