Erosion corrosion and hydroabrasive wear behaviour of Co-free alloys for sliding application
Description
The resistance of selected cobalt-free materials to erosion corrosion (flowing medium without solid particles) and hydroabrasion (flowing medium with entrained solid particles), for coolant systems of water reactors, are experimentally determined. These materials are compared to stellite 6 (reference material). Corrosion resistance of the material determines the speed of material wear due to erosion
